There will always be unavoidable probabilities, and your chances to improve your hand or place a certain amount on a bit are directly proportional to the value of your current hand so you need to also keep this thought in the back of your mind. Doing this will increase the odds of you winning, but it will also let you know when to stop betting so your losses aren't quite as significant as they could have been.

Always know exactly how much you've either won or loss at any given point in time. It will help you a lot if you're aware of which player currently has the best hand.
