I am frustrated with my DELL LATITUDE laptop (2.5 GHz processor, 4GB RAM and 512 GB of disk with 16 MB cache), it’s really sucks whenever I wanted to run some virtual machines on top of my base OS using VMWARE workstation.

So I though, let me set up a new system for me for my LAB testing. I am still figuring out what is the best budget configuration I can have

As of now, I am thinking for buying,

The objective of this box is to build some SQL Server HA and DR labs on virtual machines.

Considering this fact, Just wanted to know your views, about this configuration.

Did anyone actually tested this or similar configuration, if yes, please share your views, experience.
